The words we say before we eat, drink, read, write, or attempt absolutely any task at all, asking for God's blessing in what we do. Technical info: The same words are written on the bottom in Kufi font, right above my alias. The calligraphy was done traditionally using pencils, and it was then outlined and filled with ink. The effects and the background reiteration was done using Adobe Photoshop CS. The signature was originally done with reed pens. This piece will likely be revisited using other programs. I quickly photoshopped it for DeviantART, but I'm planning a better, cleaner version with Adobe Illustrator in order to be able to print it in a large size. |
